We are a small family business located in the beautiful village of Cygnet in the heart of the Huon Valley Tasmania. It is a scenic 45min drive from Hobart and boasts some of the best food, wine, cider and artisan produce in Tasmania.

We relocated here in 2015 from the hustle and bustle of Sydney and we have settled into the slow pace of country life. We set up Cygnet CNC Designs to combine a love of making things with a business we can run from home as we have collected a menagerie of animals that take a lot of looking after.

We hope you enjoy the simple design of the products we make, we use the best quality materials available and are very lucky to have a great supply of Tasmanian Timbers to choose from. We use predominantly sustainably sourced Tasmanian timber such as Huon Pine, Black Heart Sassafras and Tasmanian Oak to make our products. As we are completely off the grid all the energy used to power the CNC router and our other tools is green energy. The CNC router is an amazing machine, it is capable of making pretty much anything you can design.

We will be adding new products to the shop as we learn new techniques and ways of using the CNC router so keep checking the site for new additions to our range.
